Bold Contrast, High Demand

Cubaris sp. "Panda King" is known for its panda-like black and white coloration, making it one of the most visually striking isopods available. Native to Southeast Asia, they are a favorite among collectors.

Care:

  • Requires high humidity (80%) and temps between 70–80°F (21–27°C).

  • Needs a humid environment with proper ventilation and lots of hiding spots (leaf litter, moss, cork bark).

  • Avoid excessive moisture buildup to prevent mold.

Diet:

  • Primarily detritivores—feed leaf litter, soft woods, and decaying organic matter.

  • Occasionally supplement with fish flakes or protein-rich foods.

Difficulty:
Moderate. Sensitive to changes in humidity but manageable with proper setup and care.
