This eye-catching "Marbleized" morph of Armadillidium espanyoli features unique marbled patterns across its shell, making it a standout addition to any isopod collection. Native to southern Europe, this species is hardy and active, making it ideal for both display and cleanup roles.

Care:

  • Thrives in temps between 68–75°F (20–24°C) with moderate humidity (60–70%).

  • Prefers a slightly drier setup with a moisture gradient.

  • Provide bark, leaf litter, and plenty of hiding spots.

Diet:

  • Eats decaying leaves, wood, and biofilm.

  • Enjoys supplemental foods like vegetables and calcium sources (e.g., cuttlebone).

Difficulty: Easy to moderate. Great for beginners looking to explore more colorful species.
