  • Food: These isopods are detritivores, consuming decaying organic matter, leaf litter, and vegetable scraps. They can also benefit from occasional protein-rich foods like fish flakes or shrimp pellets. 
  • Difficulty: Moderate. The Giant Gold Spotted isopods require specific temperature and humidity conditions, but with proper care, they can thrive in captivity.
